The official time allocated for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) rally in Lahore’s Kahna has expired, according to Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari.
The rally's organizers have been instructed by Lahore Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza to follow the approved timetable, which permits the event to take place from 3 to 6 p.m.
According to DC Lahore Syed Musa Raza, in a press statement, "the rally must conclude by 6pm," stressing the urgency of prompt compliance. He issued a warning that there would be legal repercussions for any violations of the No Objection Certificate (NOC).
The PTI's central leadership was supposed to be in Lahore by the allocated time, but they had not yet done so. Local authorities are concerned since the rally has continued over the authorized hours due to the delay.
In order to control the situation, police have been stationed at important Lahore entry and departure ports.
